I didn’t have time to create visual mockups for the various data applications for this new feature but its use is fairly straight forward. The live and historical data would simply be made available to Google’s existing data applications as any other historical or location based data is made available.

1. User launches a Google data application and creates a relational or graphical data scenario.
2. User selects Gas Prices from the available list of data.
3. User selects desired historical range of information.
4. Data is displayed as designed by the particular application.
